Saving Sessions

This lesson explains how to save sessions in Ableton Live. Saving a session allows the user to save the project and continue working on it at another time.

Saving Tracks, Racks & MIDI

This lesson explains how to save individual tracks, racks or MIDI in Ableton Live. Ableton can save separate tracks including all of the information they contain and that includes audio or MIDI and the processing that was inserted onto the track. Ableton can also save racks of grouped instruments or effects for repeated use.

Audio Exporting

This lesson explains how to export audio from Ableton. Exporting a session as an audio file is usually the final process rendering the entire work into a wav or an mp3 audio file. Ableton can also export all individual tracks in a session or just the selected ones.
