Filtering Sound

Filtering sound is the process of filtering through a frequency dependent amplifier circuit. This lesson explains different types of filters and how they manipulate the spectrum of sound. We show all of the basic filter types such as lowpass, hipass, bandpass, notch as well as some more complex filter types like comb filters or vowel filters.

Routing

Routing is the process of transporting audio signals from inputs to outputs. This lesson explains different routing of signal in multi filter environments like synthesizers. Most usual scenario is having two filters where the signal can be processed serially or parallely between them.

Practical Example

This lesson shows a practical example how filters are used.
