Goals of Mixing
This lesson explains the goal of mixing music. Mixing is used to make the musical piece sound more pleasant for the listener and to transfer the emotion of the song with more potency. We use it to create a soundstage, enhance clarity of the song and to prioritize elements in the song.

It is a process that focuses on the technical while taking great care to also enhance the musical aspect of the song. The goal of mastering is to correct mix balance issues and enhance particular sonic characteristics, taking a good mix, and putting the final touches on it.
